Why Techrights Attracts Sabotage Attempts From Many Serial Abusers (or People Looking to Discredit the Site)

THIS site is doing well, better than ever in fact, despite the Web's perils. Yes, it's doing well in Gemini (Protocol) too, but Gemini does not have a trolling issue, at least not yet.
It is important to casually explain the types of abuse we've been subjected to, like white people pretending to be black people and then spreading anti-black bigotry in our IRC network (under the false guise of being black). They later point to IRC logs as "evidence" or "proof" of bad behaviour (their own!), hoping to incite people against the messenger, platform etc.
Despite all these truly malicious attacks (such as false insinuations about rape, too!) we're still growing and it's not some "sudden" rush, except in the sister site*. We assume it's doing well because interest in GNU/Linux has surged. Consider how well it is ranked, e.g. in Google:
This links to things we wrote last month and last year. Since then GNU/Linux has climbed to 4.2% in Vietnam, according to statCounter. We have good reasons to believe more people search for information about Windows alternatives, and not just in Vietnam.
We see traffic in no single post/page (in particular), which is a good thing as that means we're not relying on anything "viral" (temporary rush, i.e. nothing sustainable, more like cocaine rather than genuine contentment) or some social control media (i.e. third party) "account". RSS feeds are our lifeblood. █
