Engadget Has Become a Spam Site, Google Needs to Derank If Not Delist It (It's Even Worse Than CNET)
These are from the past week in Engadget (notice their news feed is basically a spam feed*):
_______
* We're getting to the point where maybe 90% of headlines with "Amazon" in them are not articles but marketing spam, basically doing SEO to sell something. In that regard, as we've been saying since 2020, Amazon severely damages the Web. It makes sites gravitate towards affiliate marketing and they become devoid of actual stories. This results in a Web abyss wherein Web surfing and watching ads can be indistinguishable. "Amazon's own monopsonistic/monopolistic methods are being used against it by some CCP firms," an associate explains, so "Amazon is now in a panic and flailing. A side effect is the SEO spam."
