Richard Stallman is Going to Peru to Deliver Many Talks
As per his site, and as noted the other day as well, Dr. Stallman should start giving talks tomorrow (Universidad Nacional de Cañete). We learned that the plans were still "in flux" a week ago, but he's going ahead despite apparent efforts at censorship (deplatforming).
According to https://stallman.org/, his original list of locations to speak at are: Universidad Nacional de San Marcos, Universidad Autónoma Auditorio de la Universidad Autónoma, Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal, Gobierno Regional de Tacna, Universidad Nacional de San Agustín, Universidad Científica del Sur, and Universidad Nacional de Cañete.
That's up to (potentially) 7 venues and the talks will be in Spanish, so it's not likely we'll make a copy of any recordings made there. Nothing personal, it's just that we're primarily an English-speaking site (there are articles in Spanish too).
In our experience, smear campaigns risk legitimising their target and it's something along the lines of, if you're effective, they try to rebut; if you are very effective, then they try to prevent you even uttering an argument. █
