There's Nothing Funny About Lawbreaking
Later today we'll write about people who think that the law is some kind of joke and bypassing fences (or leaping over them) is a "popularity contest". It's not a joke. It's not a prank. It's not even funny. Social control media like "TikTok" rewards people for doing bad things because it's good for "engagement" and possibly very bad for "rival" states ("TikTok" is controlled by China, "Twitter" or "X" is controlled by KSA).
Not all laws are benign. It's widely known what's legal and what's moral/ethical can vary, more so in unethical states which govern to oppress or to selectively enforce rules.
There's plenty of room in society for humour, but "hacking" the state by breaking laws isn't cool or hip. Sometimes it is despicable and may result in sanctions. █
