Strikes us as a bit ritual- or cult-like.
IBM precedes Microsoft and inspires many of the current tactics of Microsoft, not limited to FUD, monopoly abuse, and facetiousness in advertising.
When dealing with IBM Red Hat one cannot simply ignore the Microsoft connections to IBM, which despite being a former rival (emphasis on former) is happy to act as a Microsoft reseller.
IBM is not a "market leader" in "Linux". IBM is just a giant (but oversized) company looking for a new identity, as does Microsoft.
We need to let other companies - or communities rather - bear the flag. █
