In the EPO, months-long industrial actions are about to commence (we shall cover this separately). It'll be something a lot bigger than anything Benoît Battistelli has ever seen and if European media will intentionally ignore these industrial actions, then the media will at least seem complicit in the abuse, the corruption, the cover-up.
"It is very reasonable to approach the media," a reader explained to us. "While BILD, Focus and WELT are surely big media outlets, DER SPIEGEL, FAZ, Deutschlandfunk and Sueddeutsche Zeitung are far more important because they have much more reputation domestically and internationally. Especially the SZ, since it is the only major national paper based in Munich. It has already been critical of the EPO (and the Bavarian government) in the past. The SZ is powerful enough to withstand pressure, e.g. the Panama Papers. I would also advise to address other European newspapers with a similar reputation like The Guardian. Also, research which papers have reported the numerous suicides at the EPO under Battistelli. Remember, if one major news outlet picks up this story, all of them will follow. You just have to topple the first tile to turn it into a game of dominoes that will pick up pace all by itself."
We kindly ask our readers to contact their local media and urge it to cover the scandals. Then, António Campinos might be ousted by year's end. He's very actively involved in Cocainegate. █
