Irish Company statCounter Recognises It Overestimated Microsoft Windows' Market Share in Ireland

Microsoft's presence in Ireland is about tax evasion. We wrote about this many times in the past. Ireland likes to attract American companies by nefarious means; it basically says, "hey!! Come here and we can help you cheat! Don't pay taxes like you're supposed to in all those other countries!!!"
Microsoft's mass layoffs in Ireland have been mentioned here a lot in recent years. Without the tax evasion, Microsoft's debt would be vastly higher (it rose by almost $50,000,000,000 since we moved everything to the UK in 2023) and it seems like the Irish people are gradually moving away from Windows - very much like in the rest of northern Europe. █
