Free Software is Like an 'Activist Movement'
The atmosphere in the UK has improved since the game against Argentina and today we see the man who scares GAFAM in the national broadcaster (BBC) and elsewhere.

"Pocock-on-Sea" (Daniel) is an example of the intersection between technical work and altruism. We understand that many people out there dislike him, but that is typically because he criticises them, usually for good reasons. He recognises who serves monopolies and back doors, as opposed to populism and real computer security.
Similarly, RMS is being criticised for ridiculous things, just like in politics.
People who argue strongly in favour of something (even very good things) will attract the wrath of those whom they oppose. That's just how it is. █
