Heck, removing Mono is dead easy, just fire up Synaptic, do a search on Mono, and select the "remove from hard drive" option. It takes 5 minutes at most.
However I'm going to complain - saying that GNote 0.3 is finally out is ridiculous. That implies that the project is moving slowly, while it is moving very fast indeed.

It wasn't meant to be interpreted in this way.

Is this guy reliable, or will this solution just mess it all up ?

Also, how can I get a real avatar on your site ? Thanks for your patience.
Ok, sorry for the dumb question, but how can I remove Mono from the new Ubuntu 9, without screwing it up ? I never used tomboy, and I can do without F-spot, of course.

for those who want the quick launch feature of Gnome-Do, I've been using Launchy for a year and perfectly happy with it.
Although Launchy doesn't have all fancy features as Gnome-Do, not depending on Mono is the absolute advantage that no features can compare to.
