Harassment Against Techrights (and Our Family Members) Proportional to the Site's Positive Impact
When personal attacks and even forgeries aren't enough they start harassing relatives, too (they especially like to attack women)
THIS site is growing and that visibly upsets the militants, who have resorted to sending us forgeries (we'll cover that some time in the future). Yesterday this server served the usual million or so requests and the Gemini capsule served over 13,000 pages. Earlier this week French investigative media got in touch with us for more information, as it was preparing articles based on material we covered here. In the process that helps us find a number of bugs in the WordPress-to-static conversions (e.g. newlines removed, 'weird' accents or Baltic accents - including in files (broken URLs) - being poorly interpreted in the conversion [1, 2]).
The intensity of the attacks on us has increased, but the upside is that it helps us explain the attacks other proponents of Software Freedom are subjected to.
