GNU/Linux Continues to Get More Prevalent Worldwide (Also on the Desktop)

Overview: Now that we're in the second half of April let's take a look at this month's data from statCounter (as ODF), having noticed new gains in some countries.
THE latest shipment numbers, as reported by some outlets this past week, suggest that Android will grow faster at Windows' expense. But what about desktops and laptops?
Well, GNU/Linux is advancing in terms of its presence in that market. We've decided to show the top half dozen nations where GNU/Linux and ChromeOS have eclipsed the 10% mark: (based on statCounter's data at least)
statCounter's numbers will likely show yet another month of gains (by month's end). Microsoft-friendly sites have taken notes and we expect a barrage of FUD to intensify, albeit different types of it. █
