Magic Well
We were staying at a barn house in a small town. It seemed as though most of the townsfolk had lived there for generations. Except for the owner of the place we were staying at. They've been there a while; moved there when they were younger. They were well into their 50s now. Everyone seems happy and content with their calm and isolated lives. No one seemed to worry about anything and everyone got along well enough. I don't recall it being a creepy or hostile neighborhood. It felt like somewhere in Latin America.

Pixel's Suicide and My Switch to a Dumbphone
Somewhere in the middle of 2021, I got my favorite phone yet: Pixel 3 (white, with a teal power button, 64GB model).
Let's rewind a bit earlier. Rewind sounds intensifies.
A while back, I've used an iPhone 7 (gold, 128GB). It was a great device, and later on, it was fun to jailbreak, all until one day when Apple put an end to jailbreak with the release of iOS 15 (potential post?).

Perhaps I need more jobs?
I recently remembered about bash "job control", and it's had me exploring whether things I've been doing with tmux windows/panes could be accomplished more fluidly with bash job control.

Fixing electron apps and Steam not working on Wayland (Arch Linux, RDNA3, AMDGPU, broken Vulkan)
I have been bothered with a problem on my laptop, an Framework 13 AMD - Steam and every electron applications (VSCode, Element, electron itself, etc..) won't run on Wayland. They run but hangs without creat. I can run Steam with X11. But it fails to run every game. No matter which version of Proton I use. I gave up and shared this problem with a friend of mine at a hacker meetup, link to his website can be found below. He has experience debugging game related issue on Linux and works closely with game devs to get Linux issue resolbed. He did some magic Googling and eventually we figured out that the problem is with the Vulkan driver.

Development Frustrations
VVO Update: In response to my previous post, I got my first feedback (not counting that from friends and family) in response to a Gemini post: mbays contacted me and suggested that I try implementing my MUD using -- wait for it -- the Gemini protocol itself, and introduced me to streaming, whereby a server continuously sends new text to a client without closing the connection, and compatible clients (such as Lagrange) will display this text without clearing what's already there. With this functionality, it would certainly be possible to implement a MUD using the Gemini protocol. I did a little experimenting and got streaming and user input working (neither of which I had previously built in support for in my custom Twinstar server), so proof of concepting was successful.

Sync bookmark?
I've never been fond of to sync my bookmark if firefox, but now on gemini, that I have a key that is attached to a 'avatar' I'm thinking that having my bookmark synced between all my lagrange browser would be interesting! I assume that if a page would be dedicated to your bookmark, lagrange could sync it... Is that something that is possible / in the work / never will happen?
