Example of "Old" Things That Still Work

Old does not mean bad. Old means old. Here are things that aged well:

CD-R (can last over 100 years)
Magnetic disks
Emacs

The notion that something being "old" implies it must be discarded is typically advanced by those looking to sell more of something, or sometimes to foist the latest patents on people (to keep prices artificially high). █
