EPO and Immunity

Summary: The EPO regime of Benoît Battistelli and António Campinos has demonstrated that immunity begets impunity, which in turn gives an incentive to commit crimes, making corruption the "norm"; if European officials fail to tackle this problem, the EU too will be at risk due to legitimacy problems
THE "immunity complex" (or syndrome, unrelated to immune complex) in Europe's second-largest institution was covered here last night... with more to come regarding impunity tonight.
Why is it that some people are effectively
above the law? Is it a coincidence that officials who are above the law are placed there mostly to serve the financial interests of multinational corporations and oligarchs? What does that tell us about the state of the law in Europe? Seeing that Team UPC is pushing and compelling officials to do something illegal, shouldn't they too be held accountable for
incitement to break the law?
"Why is it that some people are effectively above the law?"In any event, I've put my thoughts in the video above. Towards the end I show these 3 comments (3 at the time of recording) on a post mentioned by SUEPO last week, along with translations ("Translation is available in German, the French translation will follow soon"). ⬆
