EPO and Disabilities: Payments Allegedly Disabled
But people who do cocaine can claim paid "sick leave" (over 100,000 euros for no work at all) if the President sleeps with their sister
Yesterday we wrote about what seemed like EPO cuts (staff cuts) and now we are seeing clues that some EPO cuts - which aren't justified because by faking production they increase the revenue - may impact those dealing with physical hardship including disabilities. The Local Staff Committee Munich circulated a message yesterday, stating: "The Office unilaterally stopped reimbursement of certain expenses"
That apparently includes "parents of children with special needs".
From the new publication, which calls for input:
Call for parents of children with special needs
Dear Colleagues,
Parents of dependent children medically certified as suffering from a disability necessitating either special care, supervision or special education or training, not provided free of charge, may claim a dependent disabled children's allowance and reimbursement of educational or training expenses for said child whatever the age of the child. (Article 69 II. (7) ServRegs)
The claim for reimbursement of the latter shall be made in relation to expenses incurred in order to provide the disabled child with education or training specially adapted to his or their needs and designed to obtain the highest possible level of functional capability and which are not of the same kind as those taken into account for the purposes of the education allowance. (Article 69 II. (10) ServRegs).
Regrettably, after more than a decade of implementation, we have been aware that the Office has unilaterally stopped reimbursement of certain expenses in the middle of the year, and with no justification or warning. The Office considers that such costs shall be the subject of reimbursement by Cigna which, of course, applies much lower ceilings, increases administrative burden, and is inappropriate for issues of educational nature. If you have noticed a change in reimbursement of such expenses relating to your dependent disabled child, we ask you to urgently contact [redacted]
In the past we covered how EPO management was trying to discard and gaslight also staff with disabilities, even disabilities that are (or were at the time) the result of EPO work:
The EPO does not aim to hire talent, it hires "yes men" for the corrupt dictators at the top (or their spouses). █
