Microsoft's additional layoffs and today we begin to see the inevitable fallout. Microsoft bought Massive just
to lay off its employees, to pose this situation in one particular way. Ensemble Studios and Flight Simulator staff told a similar story.
Microsoft announced a new round of layoffs today as it struggles to right itself after reporting tepid results last month. We’ve learned that Massive, the company’s in-game advertising business, suffered something like 75 percent layoffs.
This is another massive blow [no pun intended] for
the already-troubled XBox unit.
