Whose 'Linux' Foundation is This? Goldman Sachs' and Facebook's?

Video download link

Summary: The Linux (kernel) project is hosted by an unethical umbrella organisation that is little but an openwashing and greenwashing PR agency that's exempt from tax and regulations

THE so-called 'Linux' Foundation is somewhat of a propaganda machine and it doesn't take too long to see whose. Not Linux, that's for sure... and not Open Souce, either. It's whoever pays that calls the shots.

"What's at stake here is the gradual substitution of the meanings or connotations; instead of Linux standing for something ethical and collaborative it becomes associated with immoral acts and mass deception."Greenwashing galore from 'Linux' Foundation has been tracked for days now at our sister site. It's now culminating in greenwashing on behalf of people who bankroll or fund the world's biggest polluters (Goldman Sachs), not only Microsoft (which gives resources to these polluters).

Some pollutionWhy is this being done? Why is this being tolerated? Do we really want the name "Linux" to become associated with deception campaigns and reputation laundering of polluters? What does Linus Torvalds have to say about this (if anything; he was already silenced and publicly shamed a little more than 2 years ago).

What's at stake here is the gradual substitution of the meanings or connotations; instead of Linux standing for something ethical and collaborative it becomes associated with immoral acts and mass deception.
