THE EPO is operating like a bank instead of a patent office. The video above explains the similarity to IBM, which overpays the managers while sending the technical (practical, productive) jobs to lesser-salaried workers in another county and basically sells loans instead or products (borrowings with interest on overpriced old equipment such as mainframes).
"This isn't a way to run organisations but to destroy them."The video then discusses Mozilla under Mitchell Baker, who gives herself many raises and praises while firing loads of workers and bringing people from Microsoft or sometimes outsourcing to Microsoft (just like Mr. Microsoft Rowan at the EPO). There's no lack of commentary about the impending collapse of Mozilla; here's one that's from this past weekend.
This isn't a way to run organisations but to destroy them. See what happened to Nokia under Elop with his infamous "burning platforms" memo (the only thing which burned was Microsoft's Windows Phone, which was what Microsoft sent him to Nokia for). ⬆
