Europe Needs More Patent Whistleblowers Like Martin Wilming

Summary: We need more whistleblowers from within the patent "industry"; we need more people to insist on patent quality and adherence to the original goals, as opposed to financialisation

A WEEK ago we wrote about Martin Wilming (Hepp Wenger Ryffel AG) exposing the lie that EPO cares about patent quality. Benoît Battistelli and António Campinos intentionally lowered quality to make more money and push lots of European software patents under false pretenses.

"Save the EPO from financialisation.""The term "production" as the EPO uses it has a false and misleading definition," one reader told us, citing the post from Wilming. I decided to belatedly do a video about it, after days of unprecedented disruption in IRC.

Save the EPO from financialisation.
