Global South is Android/Linux (Windows Era Has Come to an End Already)

Global south

This short new article shows that in central and south America Microsoft is having serious problems. It lost control of the market.

With only a few days left in the month I've decided to take a quick glance at South American trends for all operating systems, only to find estimates that Windows fell from 99% at the start of 2009 to minority status (Android is now majority).

The dominant operating system is based around Linux.

"Global south" countries all show the same trend. The orange is gradually spreading northwards. █
