Despite Activision, Microsoft is Shrinking, Not Growing

IGNORE all the noise^* about Activision, which helps Microsoft hide how Microsoft is rapidly shrinking (tens of thousands of layoffs this year). Activision too had several waves of layoffs in recent months, even as recently as days ago. This was in the media.

Microsoft has been rebranding a lot of things "Azure" and "cloud". That helps fake "growth" where none exists. Here are the facts to remember ahead of Microsoft's financial "results":

1. Azure has many and persistent layoffs. So technically these operations are shrinking, not growing.
2. Azure layoffs have gone on for at least 3.5 years already.
3. Azure datacentres are being shut down.
4. "Open" HEY HI (OpenAI) helped Microsoft fake "demand" for Azure. It's basically Microsoft as its own "client" (by proxy).
5. Azure "results" are accounting fraud
