Financial Compensation of Microsoft Executives Fell by About a Quarter Despite Fast-Rising Inflation
Sales of Windows-saddled PCs have collapsed
Writing about the financial situation at a company that commits accounting fraud isn't easy because "official" figures are false, they're faked. There's barely even a point linking to the "official" figures when Microsoft insiders tell you those figures are just wrong, and have moreover said that for more than 4 years already [1, 2].
But one can read between the lines, the layoffs set aside.
"Missing financial targets have led to Microsoft's C-suite's compensation decreasing year over year," says this Microsoft promotion site today (these people never say things that hurt Microsoft, they try to embellish everything).
Colton Stradling says "Satya Nadella's 2023 compensation was $48,512,537 down from 2022's $54,946,310 compensation."
"Other C-suite members were hit even harder like Amy Hood and Brad Smith losing between 22-24%," Stradling added.
This does not sound like a company that's doing as well as it claims. No wonder many want to leave (if they can find a job elsewhere). █
