Discord Does Not Make Money, It's Spying on People and Selling Data/Control (38% is Allegedly Controlled by the Communist Party of China)

Portion of the video (6:48-12:39): Discord: The Most Evil Business In The World
There has been a lot of talk lately about Chinese interference via Bytedance's TikTok. The core concern isn't just privacy but actual manipulation (with false information, chronically misled minds, undermined/altered culture) by the Communist Party of China, even worldwide (via addictive skinnerboxes inside people's pockets). Dangers include interference in elections and remote mobilisation (the US does this too, apparently even now). To be clear, this isn't a matter of racism but a matter of human rights (which China mostly lacks; it's a political issue, not a racial issue).
What about Discord, which is being subsidised (the losses are shouldered) by the Communist Party of China?
The video on the side, a video from one year ago, discusses this, as does Discord (it doesn't wish to state the % owned by the Communist Party of China). There are many speculations about what share [1, 2], not that a considerable share exists. People get banned for asking. Less than a year ago "Discord [started] requiring everyone to take up a new common platform-wide handle."
Internet Relay Chat (IRC) does not have this issue. It is doing "OK" and it is not controlled by any single company. It's not centralised and it doesn't merely pretend to be distributed, with misleading terms such as "Servers" or "Guilds". █
