UEFI 'secure' boot has repeatedly been proven to be an utter sham that worsens security. It real purpose is to attack competition and screw the user.

Hellekson "was a founder of the Military Open Source working group". He is so proud that they killed CentOS (to push Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), which is proprietary) because it helps pay his big salary at IBM. They're on the same bandwagon as Microsoft and it is downright offensive.
