Techrights Celebrates Its First Birthday in the United Kingdom
Half a day away now
Later today we'll publish some articles/videos about topics we did not cover (or barely covered) before. We have many topics that can be covered after a busy weekend, e.g. our anniversary, anti-Techrights trolls, Nadella (coming soon), and workers' rights.
In general we've got a good pace/rhythm going as we do originals in Tux Machines too, not only here. The news will be slow for years to come as the Web fails to provide funding for journalism (no classified) and Gulag Noise, which is what we call Google News [1, 2], may die as a result of a lack of journalism (it is irrelevant already and there are further layoffs).
Thankfully much of the abuse or trolling in IRC stopped, which means that we can write more material without interference. We write many new posts/articles and, over time, also restore and improve old pages, e.g. wiki pages. The site is still very fast and this is unlikely to change any time soon. In terms of traffic, the server consistently serves over a million requests per day, steadily catching up with any load that's thrown at it. It's a massive upgrade for us. █
