Ziff Davis is paid by Microsoft to sell the illusion that Windows Vista is secure
MICROSOFT is a customer of Ziff Davis [1, 2, 3] and IDG [1, 2, 3, 4, 5], but the emergency patches that we wrote about very briefly last week are being covered by those publishers too. New examples:
v3.co.uk
publishes "A week in security: Apple and Microsoft patch numerous flaws" and Mercury offers "Tips on protecting your PC" (where by "PC" it actually means Windows). Why not recommend other platforms as a remedy? ⬆
