Sumario: Criticismo de la esfera de patentes en los EE.UU., la que todavía deja espacio para las patentes de software por la resistencia de multinacionales corporativas al cambio/reforma, motivado por el maximálismo de la USPTO (haciéndo crecer sus números a pesar de su bajísima calidad) La USPTO es la principal barrera para la abolición de patentes de software. De acuerdoa otro nuevo artículo de hoy, Uber da otrarazón para boycotearloya que persigue patentes de software cuyo costo total (social) sería inmenso. No es claro como la patente de Uber afectaría la aplicación de Lyft’s de su propio “Prime Time” carácteristica dínamica,” escribió el autor,si lo hace. En años reciéntes muchos en Silicon Valley se han quejado que el proceso para obtener patentes es defectuoso.
