Lies, lies, and more lies (hey, is that Benoît Battistelli?)
Summary: António Campinos continues with his campaign of lies; EPO workers already know he's just another Battistelli with a maturing reputation for lies
"Campinos gave an interview for the German magazine," a source told us about this piece. "He stated that the EPO does not grant patents on software and that half of the applications are refused. Both statements are nonsense. In the Intranet the nonsense is called a "journalistic paraphrase"..." (as per the photograph).
Not only does
António Campinos promote
software patents in Europe; he pressures the judges of the Board to allow such illegal patents (in violation of the EPC). He doesn't merely
permit such patents but
advocates them while even compelling examiners to allow them in his revised guidelines. Examiners are in effect compelled to break the law or lose their job.
As our source put it, "Trump would have called it "alternative facts"."
