THIS new article by Mitchel Lewis (photographed on the right) we’ve already alluded to several times in previous videos because I read some drafts of it. I decided to do a quick video about the article (after its publication) and it’s last for today — or this morning — because my throat gets clogged up and I had to drink while recording it (otherwise there would be too much coughing throughout).
It’s not so often that we hear from former (or existing) Microsoft employees, but we’re moralised and emboldened to know that some of our readers generally become aware of their employer’s dark side. Sometimes they even decide to contribute some information and tips, as they seek to expose things only insiders are aware/privy to.

Many have come forth over the years and some follow Techrights closely because they wish to learn about the dark(er) side of the employer.”Mitchel Lewis has written a great deal about Microsoft mischief, including deaths of employees whose grievances and great stress Microsoft was ignoring (despite repeated warnings from colleagues). There’s something to be said here about EPO suicides. Growing stress levels are a theme. As an insider put it anonymously a few months back: “This new hybrid workstation policy means that at least some of us will be able to work full time from home even after the pandemic. Could be a good idea, but to me feels like a trap because I work almost twice as much since I started working from home. Maybe it’s a hidden agenda, to get the most out of employees.”
