5 Jack Wallen Features That Might Make Him Microsoft's New Favorite Linux Shill
Hours ago:
Months ago (later he admitted he was wrong and he dumped BlueMail):
Months ago Jack Wallen was recommending a proprietary client (BlueMail) that he later said sucked and he abandoned it. Why did Mr. Wallen recommend BlueMail in the first place? Paid promotion? Wallen's recommendation, which came in many parts, remains online, even if Wallen himself later admitted that it sucks.
Today he has this proprietary spyware (that steals all the passwords of the user) puff piece:
Did he get paid for this? Edge does not make any significant gains because it lacks an actual "edge" over the competition (Microsoft just tries to force Windows users to move to it) and there have been mass layoffs in the Edge development team.
To make matters worse, this year Microsoft has begun breaking the law in an attempt to salvage Edge. No sane GNU/Linux user would even install the thing, let alone run it.
If Wallen later regrets what he wrote, will this original endorsement be retracted? Or will the puff pieces (like BlueMail's) remain online? In effect herding some people into something which - by the admission of the author himself - sucks. █
