It's Rather Obvious Why They Try to Silence Richard Stallman, Eben Moglen, and Daniel Pocock
FOR those who haven't paid close enough attention yesterday, the DNS system has become frail because an overzealous Debian "cabal" wanting to confiscate every domain with the word "debian"
somewhere (if they didn't like the site). 2,564 Internet domains/sites may now be at risk. Clap for corrupt WIPO.
This is nothing short of deplatforming at DNS level. This sets a highly dangerous precedent and darkens the first couple of weeks of Herr Tille as DPL. The site Nazi.Compare will probably have a field day with this one...
So why are there such vicious attempts to simply silence people, especially those who speak about software freedom and morality? Well, some of these people have been giving testimonies to Congress (they can articulately speak about hype like "Hey Hi") or speaking to the UN/similar in Geneva about human rights (e.g. sex scandals, underage labour, and suicide clusters, indirectly or even directly caused by - sometimes shamelessly funded by - companies such as IBM and Google). So efforts to marginalise them start by denying them a public platform.
Richard Stallman wrote to me a few hours ago. Suffice to say, Richard Stallman committed no crime, yet militant liars try to prevent him giving public talks. It doesn't matter to them if he is 71 with cancer. These merciless militants (a bunch that coordinates ritual defamation) does not care about age or gender, it is just very racist and overzealous; its goal is to usher in corporate dominance. Not too shockingly, many of them are funded directly by GAFAM and similar. Some of them already sent physically menacing messages to Daniel Pocock. █
