"Latest Technology News" in BetaNews is Press Release SPAM (or LLM Slop, Marketing, Fake 'Review')
Front page right now:
There are many more examples. What they call "reviews" are just ads. This is what today's Web has become, and not just this week (the Deny Friday week).
They're all derived from the same script with the usual slight permutations. Plugging sentences like "The Beoplay Eleven’s ANC technology is a leap forward, providing twice the noise reduction at low frequencies compared to its predecessor" into Google reveals either plagiarism or - the simpler explanation is - junk text spewed out based on some press release/E-mail/other message from the company.
Save the Web. Sites like the above contribute to its demise because each new page they add "dilutes" the whole. The Web is becoming a junkyard of misinformation and ads that lack disclosure or suitable labels.
