Videos Still Important to Us
TODAY we are back to making videos (4 recorded earlier today) because we have more free time, a very positive outlook, and strong desire to routinely create more than just text and images. The Web is changing, Gemini seems to be growing (at least from our perspective), and video isn't limited to HTTP/S, so why not invest lots of time in it?
Today we modified the programs that we had made for processing videos, reducing the looping in the animated GIFs to only 3 iterations. After some testing we can push that to Git.
Some time soon we'll probably make videos about the EPO, about general corruption, and about tech policy. Later today/tonight we'll have a video about Apple and software patents.
Dealing with the issue of direct sunlight (at daytime), we recently worked on changing the office setup and replacing the curtains, so lighting will be less of a problem. This should make it easier to record any time of the day (it used to work better at nights owing to frontal screen glare).
Will we be back to an average of a video per day? Knock on wood! █
