LAST night some "network maintenance" got carried out "to improve how some traffic is routed within the network"*. We've managed to 'survive' this without disruption to IRC, which remained online throughout:

Will we ever make it to a hundredth of a second? We'd have to rely on different hardware for that. The faster we serve, the greater the load we can cope with (sort of). Combining Gemini and HTTP/S, yesterday we served an impressive number of requests. █
