YESTERDAY we suffered a downtime (due to networking issues; damage to fibre), but our Gemini capsule remained accessible. The same was true for IPFS (our local node of it processes about 3GB of traffic per day). In order to be robust or resistant to downtimes we try to put the eggs in several baskets, including protocols. The same is true for IRC networks.

(we keep improving the experience there, given deliberate limitations that reduce distraction, clutter, and bloat). The above shows Techrights in Lagrange. The other day we enhanced the capsule's security. In terms or privacy, on average it is better than the World Wide Web. It also discourages centralisation of "trust".
