MonoDevelop on Windows will be just a great failure, the market has already big alternatives, like Visual Studio Express Edition from Microsoft (who won't use Visual Studio on Windows?) and SharpDevelop ( from which they seem to have taken the code ). Also GTK->Mono->WinAPI will be a huge beast and won't be able to compete with the .NET stack ( who knows the hidden Windows API that it is still undocumented better than Microsoft itself?). The answers are left for Mono developers.

The term FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) was created to describe IBM's tactics and IBM is doing it again: Rob Thomas or "RT"
