In the news right now: Firefox Maker Mozilla Is Cutting 60 Jobs After Naming New CEO (see editorial comment in the page)

Is this why Baker stepped down less than a week ago?

The CEO's latest known salary is over 6 million dollars a year. So she could instead settle for a moderate salary and carry on paying all the above (60) people.

This is not a "social justice" company; it is more like a greedy proxy of GAFAM, whose leadership is morally bankrupt.

Mozilla is going the way of the dodo, except in some niche markets. It didn't have to be this way. Cui bono? GAFAM.
