Gemini version available ♊︎Unpublished EPO Material
Summary: Our private archives still contain a lot of embarrassing documents from or about the EPO; those can come handy each time the EPO’s management lies to the media or to its very own staff
OVER the years we’ve received a lot of material from and/or about the European Patent Office (EPO). Some cannot be published without negative consequences, so we never got around to publishing it. We have some old letters from Bergot, the notorious staff ‘assassin’ of Battistelli and Campinos.
One sure thing is, we have a rough idea of what we have and we can quickly publish things if they become highly relevant at some moment in time (or if/when someone leaves the EPO). We don’t just ‘dump’ documents out there… we’re careful to respect privacy of those who need and also deserve it.
“Every refutation is a lot stronger with source material (like words right out of the horse’s own mouth).”We never regretted anything that we published about the EPO, certainly not the posts that caused the EPO to lose its mind and send legions of lawyers to threaten us (not because of falsehoods, it’s about public embarrassment). Nowadays the EPO has a tighter grip on European media, which it bribes, intimidates and sometimes infiltrates. We’re learning to accept that because it means that we’re almost the last standing/remaining site to report on EPO corruption.
But the point we’re hoping to make is, there’s plenty more where it came from and we still have material we can publish but have not yet published. The EPO probably knows this, the managers can definitely sense it, and this is why they’re still blocking the whole of Techrights in every EPO site. The last thing they want staff to do is read refutation of officials’ lies. Every refutation is a lot stronger with source material (like words right out of the horse’s own mouth). █
