Another Small Company Joins the Ever-growing ODF Club
Babya is worth congratulating for its new membership in OpenDocument Format Alliance.
Babya today announced that it has become an official member of the OpenDocument Format Alliance.
This is good news and an encouraging sign of the growing acceptance of ODF. Not so long ago it was Apple that began embracing ODF. Also, via Bob Sutor, the following is quoteworthy:

Never forget what happened in the ISO, e.g.:
- Evidence of Microsoft Influencing OOXML Votes in Nordic States
- Microsoft Memo to Partners in Sweden Surfaces: Vote Yes for OOXML
- The OOXML Problem
- Corrupt countries were more likely to support the OOXML document format
- Microsoft accused of more OOXML standards fiddling
- Microsoft Tech Ed 2007: OpenXML
